ABOUT

Liz Magno Barnes

My work and travels have led me to over 30 countries and to places that I'll never forget.

I’ve walked in the footsteps of holocaust victims through gas chambers in Auschwitz, and through FSB (KGB) headquarters to film Hitler’s remains in Moscow.

I’ve witnessed true courage as young airborne soldiers made their first jump out of a C-130, and veterans shared their scars from battle.

I’ve been awed by the majesty of Mother Nature, and inspired by the resilience of people who lost everything in the wake of environmental disasters.

My experience has taught me how fragile life is and that underneath it all, we are inextricably connected.

It’s taught me how to learn quickly, plan strategically, adapt on the fly and go with the flow.  Because at the

end of the day no matter how hard you try you can’t control the universe, just what you contribute to it.

“Tell me the facts and I'll learn.
Tell me the truth and I'll believe.

But tell me a story and it will live in heart forever."
